St Stephen the Martyr is an Anglican Parish Church in the heart of Cheshire, and we have been proclaiming the Christian Faith in Moulton Village since our foundation in 1876. With a congregation crossing all ages and at all stages of Christian discipleship, we welcome you to this site and trust you will find what you need. We embrace a variety of service styles, ranging from the traditional to a more modern Cafe Church (usually held in the Village Hall next door). There are many other activities during a typical month - why not have a look at our CHURCH CALENDAR to get a taste of these?
We recently completed a series of events to celebrate our 130th birthday, and tried to ensure there was something for everyone. Our programme of events has continued each year since then with an Annual Concert, a Salsa Evening and a strong presence at Moulton's Crow Fair. Please come and visit us at the church or at any of our special events (they are advertised around the village and in the local press), or simply just contact us - you can count on a friendly response.
We are most thankful to have been joined (from 8 May 2006) by our Minister, Revd Robin Forrester and his wife Jenny.
